Actor and singer Alírio Netto (Shaman, Queen Extravaganza, Avalanch) has just been confirmed in the newest solo work by legendary vocalist Jeff Scott Soto (Sons of Apollo, Talisman, ex-Yngwie Malmsteen). The album is titled “Jeff Scott Soto – The Duets Collection Vol. 1” and features Jeff Scott Soto in duets with great vocalists. The song that Alírio will sing with Soto is “I’ll Be Waiting” (Talisman).

“Very honored and thrilled to have been invited by my brother Jeff Scott Soto to do a duet on his new album! Even more with this team! ”, Said Alírio Netto.

“It was a dream to record these songs with these voices and friends. I am very excited for you to hear the results. I believe that we will launch in the fall of this year and we are in the final stretch of the mixes ”, said Jeff Scott Soto.

Recently, Alírio Netto announced his next studio album “All Things Must Pass”. The album will be released by Frontiers Records in the coming months. “All Things Must Pass” is the singer’s third solo album, but the first to be released worldwide. The first solo studio work, “João de Deus”, was released only in Brazil and is sung in Portuguese.

The new work will be all in English and has a variety of styles, always allowing space for great melodies. Among the musicians who recorded, are drummer Adriano Daga (Grammy-winning producer and band Malta) and bassist Felipe Andreoli (Angra). As a special participation, the album features the lead singer of Journey, Arnel Pineda, in an exciting duet with Alírio.
