Alírio continues delighting with his new solo album “All Things Must Pass”, released worldwide by the Italian label Frontiers Records. To grace the fans, the singer, together with director Thiago Kiss, prepared a video for “Gipsy”, a song featuring his wife, actress and singer Livia Dabarian.
“Gipsy” is one of Alírio’s most special compositions, which has a confirmed performance at Tom Brasil, on November 19, at 10 pm, alongside Alberto Rionda (Avalanch) and Fabio Lione and Marcelo Barbosa do Angra. After a sold out show at Blue Note, in São Paulo, Alírio follows the promotion of “All Things Must Pass” in Spain with several dates around the country. More shows will be announced soon.

Currently living in Madrid, Spain, since December 2020, Livia Dabarian is playing the villain Killer Queen on stage in the musical “We Will Rock You”. The actress has participated in different roles in musical theater, such as: Rita Cadillac in “Chacrinha, O Musical”; Scaramouche in “We Will Rock You”; The comical Waitress in “Tudo é Jazz”; the emblematic Mary Matoso, alternating with the protagonist Natasha in “Vamp, O Musical” and the tour as the iconic “Penn Taylor”, in the same musical.
Alirio comments on the video:
“Gipsy” was a song made for Lívia, for her voice! She has a gypsy soul and I wanted to explore that with this more bluesy language. Livia arrived at the studio and came out recording everything on the first take, improvising and everything… It’s a privilege to have an artist of this level on my album! Besides, it’s a cat, right! I love so much!

“Our relationship is a meeting of gypsy souls who have met and decided to explore the world together. There’s nothing more beautiful than turning this feeling into a song. Singing with Alirio is always special, but this song is different from anything we had done. It’s a timeless song and I’m proud of it every time I listen to it! The music video was the most fun ever to record! There’s almost nothing acted on. It’s us, hanging out with our friends! It makes you want to drag the furniture out of the living room, open a wine and go dancing”

Alirio is one of the most recognized voices in Brazil. Whether on stage, in the studio or performing in a musical theater, Alirio makes a strong impression with his powerful voice, incredible range and control. As a rock singer, Alirio led the band Khallice, who signed a contract with progressive rock label Magna Carta for the release of their debut album, “The Journey”. Alirio was also part of the metal band Age of Artemis, which released two albums, one of them produced by the renowned singer and producer Edu Falaschi (ex-Angra). More recently, he joined the band Shaman as a replacement for the late Andre Matos.
The singer has also participated in several musical theater productions, including starring in “Galileo” in “We Will Rock You”, the official music production of Queen. He was also later announced as the lead singer of the band “Queen Extravaganza”, which prompted Roger Taylor to comment: “Alírio is not only a superlative singer, he is also a great showman.”
